The service

EnergyPulse Engine is a free, independent information service that forecasts retail fuel prices (petrol, diesel, heating oil) from wholesale market data, for the countries and regions it has data for. See How it works for the methodology and Accuracy for how the forecasts have performed.

Forecasts are model output, not financial or purchasing advice. Do not rely on them for decisions where a wrong forecast could cause you material loss.

No warranty; use at your own risk

Forecasts, equilibrium prices, confidence ranges and action signals (Buy now / Wait / Neutral) are generated automatically by a statistical model from third-party public data. They may be incomplete, delayed, or simply wrong, especially when taxes, price caps or supply disruptions change abruptly. The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Intellectual property

The site's own design, text and code are the property of its operator. The underlying market and retail price data comes from independent public sources, each under its own licence; check that licence before reusing that data yourself. Forecasts on this site are provided for personal, informational use.

Using the public API

The read-only REST API (documented at /api/docs) is open, require no sign-up or API key, and are provided free of charge for reasonable, good-faith use — personal projects, research, dashboards, and similar. In using them, you agree not to:

• Send excessive, automated, or abusive traffic beyond reasonable use, or attempt to bypass, evade, or overload rate limiting;
• Probe, scan, or attack the API or site infrastructure, or attempt to access any endpoint or data not intentionally exposed by the public documentation;
• Present the forecasts as official price guidance, or as the output of a government or regulator;
• Redistribute the underlying third-party source data in a way that violates that source's own licence;
• Use the service to build a competing product that primarily just re-packages this site's own forecasts.

We may change, rate-limit, restrict, or discontinue the API or any part of the site at any time, without notice, and without liability for doing so.

Limitation of liability

This service is provided free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the API, or from any decision made in reliance on their content.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time as the site and its API evolve; the effective date at the top always reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the site or API after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established [operator: state the governing law and venue here], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights where you live.
